How To: Access a saved Safari passwords.
If you use Safari’s built-in feature to save your passwords you can easily forget a password for a site you don’t use that often. In this tutorial we will learn how to retrieve a password should you need it for another reason other than using it in Safari.
- First open the application Keychain Access which is in your Applications/Utilities/ Folder.

- You can search for the site you are looking for at the top of the window. Then double click on the site when you find it. you will see a window like this:

- Click the check box to “Show Password”
- You will be prompted for a password which is your computer password not the website password, then click “Allow Once”
- Your password will be displayed in the box.
